UPDATE: Anthony Edwards' Current Injury Status For Timberwolves-Pistons Game

Anthony Edwards is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be in Michigan to face off against the Detroit Pistons.   

For the game, the Timberwolves could be without their best player, as Anthony Edwards is on the injury report.    

Via Underdog NBA: "Anthony Edwards (knee) questionable for Wednesday."

Edwards has played in 36 games and is averaging 26.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 46.3% from the field and 38.5% from the three-point range.  

The Timberwolves are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 28-11 record in their first 39 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 6-4 over their last ten games.   

Most recently, the Timberwolves beat the Los Angeles Clippers by a score of 109-105. 

In 38 minutes of playing time, Edwards had 33 points, nine rebounds, six assists and two steals while shooting 10/16 from the field and 2/4 from the three-point range. 

Following the Pistons, the Timberwolves will host the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday evening at the Target Center. 

On the road, they have gone 12-9 in 21 games, while they are 16-2 in the 18 games they have played at home. 

As for the Pistons, they are the 15th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 4-36 record in their first 40 games. 

They are 2-8 over their last ten games and are 2-17 in the 19 games they have played in Detroit. 

Following the Timberwolves, the Pistons will host Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday.
