FINAL UPDATE: Bam Adebayo's Current Injury Status For Heat-Knicks Game

Bam Adebayo is on the injury report for Friday's game.

On Friday evening, the Miami Heat will be in Manhattan to face off against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.   

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as Bam Adebayo is on the injury report.     

Via The Heat on Thursday: "Bam Adebayo (hip) and Duncan Robinson (right thumb sprain) are both listed as questionable."

Adebayo has played in 13 games this season and is averaging 22.8 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 53.7% from the field.  

The Heat are 10-5 in their first 15 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 9-1 in their previous ten games. 

Most recently, the Heat defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 129-96 (Adebayo did not play in the game). 

Kyle Lowry led the way with 28 points in 29 minutes of playing time.  

Adebayo is in his seventh season in the league and has helped lead the Heat to the NBA Finals in two of the previous four years. 

Following the Knicks, the Heat will play their next game against the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center in New York on Saturday evening. 

As for the Knicks, they are 8-6 in their first 14 games, which has them as the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are 6-4 in their previous ten games and 3-2 in the five games they have hosted in New York City.
