Bam Adebayo's Final Injury Status For Heat-Bucks Game 5

Bam Adebayo has been upgraded to available for Game 5.

On Wednesday evening, the Miami Heat will be in Wisconsin to take on the Milwaukee Bucks for Game 5 of their first-round playoff series.

For the game, they will have Bam Adebayo in the starting lineup, as the All-Star center has been upgraded to available.

Via Underdog NBA: "Bam Adebayo (hamstring) available to play Wednesday."

The former Kentucky star has had a fantastic year and averaged an excellent 20.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 54.0% from the field in 75 games.

After splitting Games 1 and 2 in Milwaukee, the Heat have pulled away in the series by winning Games 3 and 4 on their home floor in Miami.

Therefore, they have a 3-1 lead and will have a chance to close out the Bucks on Wednesday night.

If the Bucks are able to survive, Game 6 will be played in Miami on Friday night.

Even though the Heat are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference, they are one of the best teams in the league.

The franchise has been to the Conference Finals in two of the previous three seasons and made the NBA Finals in 2020.

As for the Bucks, they had the best record in the regular season (58-24), so a first-round playoff exit would be a significant failure.

The winner of the series will advance to the second round to play the New York Knicks or Cleveland Cavaliers (the series is currently 3-1 in favor of the Knicks).
