Bam Adebayo's Injury Status For Heat-Hornets Game

Bam Adebayo has been ruled out for Monday's game.

On Monday evening, the Miami Heat will face off against the Charlotte Hornets in North Carolina.   

For the game, they will be without one of their best players, as starting center Bam Adebayo has been ruled out.   

Adebayo has missed each of the previous three games, so this will be his fourth straight out of the lineup.  

Via The Heat on Sunday: "#MIAvsCHA UPDATE: Bam Adebayo (hip), Haywood Highsmith (back), Nikola Jovic (G League assignment) and RJ Hampton (G League two-way) will all miss tomorrow night’s game vs the Hornets."

Adebayo has played in 16 games so far this season and is averaging 22.2 points, 9.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks per contest while shooting 52.2% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range.  

The Heat are the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 12-10 record in their first 22 games. 

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 111-99. 

On Wednesday, the Heat and Hornets will face off again (in Florida).

As for the Hornets, they are 7-13 in their first 20 games, which has them as the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference.  

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Toronto Raptors by a score of 119-116. 

Gordon Hayward led the way with 24 points, four rebounds, four assists and one steal while shooting 10/15 from the field and 1/2 from the three-point range.
