Ben Simmons' Injury Status For Nuggets-Nets Game

Ben Simmons has been ruled out for Sunday's game.

On Sunday afternoon, the Brooklyn Nets are hosting the Denver Nuggets at Barclays Center in New York.

For the game, they will remain without one of their best players, as Ben Simmons has been ruled out

The former LSU star has missed each of the last 12 games, so this will be his 13th straight out of action.

Simmons is currently averaging 6.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.3 steals per contest in 42 games (while shooting 56.6% from the field).

He is in his first season playing for the Nets after missing the entire 2021-22 season.

Prior to last year, he had been to the NBA All-Star Game three times in a row as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers.

Right now, the Nets are the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 39-31 record in 70 games.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game losing streak.

At home, the Nets have been good, going 19-13 in the 32 games they have hosted at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 47-24 record in 71 games.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and 16-17 in the 33 games they have played on the road away from Denver, Colorado.

Last season, the Nuggets lost in the first round of the NBA Playoffs to the Golden State Warriors, while the Nets got swept (in the first round) by the Boston Celtics.
