Ben Simmons' Official Injury Status For Jazz-Nets Game

Ben Simmons will make his return to action.

On Monday evening, the Brooklyn Nets will host the Utah Jazz at Barclays Center in New York. 

For the game, the Nets will have one of their best players back in action, as three-time NBA All-Star Ben Simmons has been upgraded to available.  

The former LSU star last played in a game on November 6.

AVAILABLE: Simmons - left lower back - nerve impingement"

Simmons has played in six games so far this season and has averages of 6.5 points, 10.8 rebounds and 6.7 assists per contest while shooting 52.8% from the field. 

The Nets are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with an 18-27 record in their first 45 games.  

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and 11-12 in the 23 games they have hosted at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. 

Most recently, the Nets defeated the Houston Rockets by a score of 106-104. 

Following the Jazz, they will remain at home to host Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday evening. 

As for the Jazz, they are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 24-23 record in their first 47 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and have gone 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Following the Nets, the Jazz will remain in New York City to face off against Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks on Tuesday evening at Madison Square Garden.
