UPDATE: Brandon Ingram's Current Status For Rockets-Pelicans Game

Brandon Ingram is on the injury report for Thursday's game.

UPDATE: Brandon Ingram has been ruled out (h/t Erin Summers). 

On Thursday evening, the New Orleans Pelicans will host the Houston Rockets in Louisiana. 

For the game, the Pelicans could be without one of their best players, as 2020 NBA All-Star Brandon Ingram is on the injury report.

Ingram has played in 51 games and is averaging 21.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.8 assists per contest while shooting 49.0% from the field and 36.2% from the three-point range. 

The Pelicans are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 33-22 record in 55 games. 

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Pelicans beat the Washington Wizards by a score of 133-126. 

In 35 minutes of playing time, Ingram had 18 points, three rebounds, eight assists and two steals while shooting 6/13 from the field and 2/3 from the three-point range. 

Following the Rockets, the Pelicans will host Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat on Friday evening in Louisiana. 

As for the Rockets, they are the 12th seed in the Western Conference with a 24-30 record in 54 games. 

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 121-113. 

Following the Pelicans, the Rockets will return home to host Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns on Friday evening in Houston. 

On the road, the Rockets are 5-21, while the Pelicans are 16-10 at home.
