Brandon Ingram's Injury Status For Kings-Pelicans Game

Brandon Ingram has been ruled out for Sunday's game.

On Sunday evening, the New Orleans Pelicans are hosting the Sacramento Kings in Louisiana.

However, they will be without one of their best players, as Brandon Ingram has been ruled out due to a toe injury.

Underdog NBA: "Brandon Ingram (toe) ruled out Sunday."

The former Duke star is coming off a sensational game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night (his former team).

He played 32 minutes and put up 35 points, five rebounds and four assists (while shooting 15/28 from the field).

The Pelicans also snapped a ten-game losing streak with the 131-126 victory on their home floor.

Ingram has missed 34 games this season, but when he has played, he's been fantastic.

The 2020 NBA All-Star is averaging 21.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 5.0 assists per contest.

He's also shooting 44.9% from the field and 38.8% from the three-point range.

After a hot start to the season, the Pelicans have been one of the coldest teams in the league.

That said, they are still 27-27 in 54 games, which has them tied for the ninth seed in the Western Conference.

At home, the Pelicans have been hard to beat, with an 18-9 record in 27 games hosted in Louisiana.

As for the Kings, they are the third seed in the Western Conference with a 29-22 record in 51 games.

They are 6-4 in their last ten games and a very solid 13-11 in the 24 games they have played on the road away from Sacramento, California.
