BREAKING: Andrew Wiggins' Final Injury Status For Warriors-Lakers Game

Andrew Wiggins has been upgraded to available for Game 6.

On Friday night, the Golden State Warriors are in Los Angeles to face off against the Lakers at Crypto.com Arena for Game 6 of their second-round playoff series.

For the game, the Warriors will have Andrew Wiggins in action, as the 2022 NBA Champion has been upgraded to available.

Via Underdog NBA: "Andrew Wiggins (ribs) available to play Friday."

Wiggins is coming off a fantastic performance in Game 5, where he put up 25 points, seven rebounds, five assists and one steal while shooting 10/18 from the field in 36 minutes of playing time.

The Warriors won Game 5 by a score of 121-106 to keep their season alive, and the series is now 3-2 (in favor of the Lakers).

Therefore, a loss would eliminate them from the 2023 NBA Playoffs, while a victory would force a Game 7 back at the Chase Center in San Francisco on Sunday.

While they have won the NBA Championship four times in the previous eight seasons (including last year), the Warriors have had an up-and-down 2022-23 season.

They finished as the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 44-38 record and defeated the Sacramento Kings in the first round (in seven games).

During the regular season, the Warriors went just 11-30 in the 41 games they played on the road.

That said, they were able to win Games 5 and 7 against the Kings (in Sacramento).

Whoever wins the series will face off against the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals.
