BREAKING: Anthony Davis' Final Injury Status For Lakers-Pacers Game

Anthony Davis has been upgraded to available for Thursday’s game.

On Thursday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will be in Indianapolis to take on the Indiana Pacers.

For the game, they will have one of their best players in action, as Anthony Davis has been upgraded to available.

Underdog NBA: "Anthony Davis (foot) will play Thursday."

The superstar forward had missed 20 games in a row but has played in three out of the last four.

He is in the middle of another fantastic season with averages of 26.8 points, 11.9 rebonds, 2.6 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.0 blocks per contest in 28 games (he is also shooting 58.3% from the field).

Davis is in his fourth season with the Lakers and helped them win the 2020 NBA Championship.

That said, they are coming off a year where they went 33-49 and missed the postseason.

The eight-time NBA All-Star has struggled to stay healthy and missed 42 games (in 2021-22).

Right now, the Lakers are the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 24-28 record in 52 games.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and 11-16 in the 27 they have played on the road.

The west has been close, so they are only 3.0 games out of the tie for the fifth seed.

Meanwhile, the Pacers are tied with the Chicago Bulls for the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference (and also have a 24-28 record).

They are 1-9 in their last ten games (and in the middle of a three-game losing streak) but 16-10 at home.
