BREAKING: Anthony Edwards' Injury Status In Spurs-Timberwolves Game

Anthony Edwards went to the locker room during Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves are playing the San Antonio Spurs at the Target Center. 

During the first half, All-Star guard Anthony Edwards went to the locker room with an injury.  

Edwards has 18 points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal while shooting 7/14 from the field and 2/4 from the three-point range in 16 minutes of playing time. 

There has been no word from the team on his status for the rest of the night.

Edwards entered the game with averages of 26.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 46.8% from the field and 38.4% from the three-point range in 54 games. 

The Timberwolves are tied with the Oklahoma City Thunder for the first seed in the Western Conference and are 40-17 in 57 games. 

Following the Spurs, the Timberwolves will remain at home to host the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday evening at the Target Center. 

As for the Spurs, they are the 15th seed (last place) in the Western Conference with an 11-47 record in 58 games.  

They are in the middle of a four-game losing streak and are 1-9 over their last ten games. 

Following the Timberwolves, the Spurs will return to Texas and host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday evening.
