BREAKING: Bradley Beal's Updated Status For Timberwolves-Suns Game

Bradley Beal has been ruled out for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Phoenix Suns will host the Minnesota Timberwolves in Arizona.  

Bradley Beal had been expected to play in the game, but he has now been ruled out. 

Via Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium: "Bradley Beal has now been ruled out tonight for Suns vs. Timberwolves. Suns Big 3 debut delayed."

Beal has played in three games so far this season and is averaging 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest while shooting 39.1% from the field.  

The Suns are 4-6 in their ten games and in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

They most recently lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 111-99.  

In 30 minutes of playing time, Beal had 15 points, eight rebounds and five assists while shooting 6/17 from the field.  

Beal had played 11 seasons with the Washington Wizards before getting traded to the Suns over the offseason. 

Once they are fully healthy, they will have one of the best starting lineups in the league with Kevin Durant, Devin Booker (and Beal). 

Last year, the former Florida star averaged 23.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists per contest. 

Following the Timberwolves, the Suns will play their next game against the Utah Jazz (in Salt Lake City) on Friday.

As for the Timberwolves, they are 8-2 in their first ten games and in the middle of a seven-game winning streak. 

They are coming off a 104-101 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday evening at the Chase Center in California.
