BREAKING: Brandon Ingram's Final Injury Status For Lakers-Pelicans Game

Brandon Ingram has been upgraded to available for Tuesday’s game.

On Tuesday evening, the New Orleans Pelicans are hosting the Los Angeles Lakers in Louisiana.   

For the game, they will have one of their best players in the starting lineup, as Brandon Ingram has been upgraded to available.  

The 2020 NBA All-Star had missed two games in a row with an ankle injury.

Ingram is in the middle of a solid season with averages of 22.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists per contest in 31 games.   

The former Duke star is also shooting an impressive 47.0% from the field and 39.3% from the three-point range.  

He is in his fourth season with the Pelicans after spending the first three seasons of his career with the Lakers (he was the second pick in the 2016 NBA Draft). 

Right now, the Pelicans are 33-35 in 68 games, which has them in a three-way tie for the ninth seed in the Western Conference.

They are 3-7 in their last ten games but an outstanding 22-12 in the 34 games they have hosted at home in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

Meanwhile, the Lakers are also part of the three-way tie for the ninth seed and have a 33-35 record in 68 games. 

They are 7-3 in their last ten games and 15-19 in the 34 games they have played on the road. 

The two teams last faced off in February (in Los Angeles, California), and the Lakers won 120-102. 

Ingram had 25 points in 34 minutes.
