BREAKING: Derrick Rose's Injury Status In Rockets-Grizzlies Game

Derrick Rose has been ruled out for the remainder of Friday's game.

On Friday evening, the Memphis Grizzlies are hosting the Houston Rockets in Tennessee.

During the game, Derrick Rose got injured, and he will not return for the remainder of the night.   

Rose finished the game with three points, two rebounds and two assists while shooting 1/3 from the field and 1/2 from the three-point range in nine minutes of playing time. 

Via Grizzlies PR: "Derrick Rose (LT Hamstring Soreness) will not return tonight vs Houston."

Rose came into the evening with averages of 9.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists per contest while shooting 44.1% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range in 14 games.  

The Grizzlies are the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 6-17 record in their first 23 games. 

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game losing streak.  

Most recently, the Grizzlies lost to the Rockets (in Houston on Wednesday) by a score of 117-104.  

In 31 minutes of playing time, Rose had 19 points, four rebounds, six assists and one block while shooting 7/14 from the field and 1/4 from the three-point range. 

Following the Rockets, the Grizzlies will play their next game on Monday evening when they visit the Oklahoma City Thunder in Oklahoma. 

As for the Rockets, they are 12-9 in their first 21 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference. 

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and in the middle of a four-game winning streak.
