BREAKING: Donovan Mitchell's Injury Status In Cavs-Rockets Game

Donovan Mitchell went to the locker room during Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers are playing the Houston Rockets in Texas.  

During the second half, All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell went to the locker room with an injury.   

Mitchell has 11 points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal while shooting 4/12 from the field and 3/7 from the three-point range in 23 minutes of playing time.

The Cavs have been getting blown out for most of the game.     

Via Bally Sports Cleveland: "Donovan Mitchell has gone to the locker room after being hit in the face in a collision under the basket in the third quarter in Houston."

Mitchell is in the middle of another sensational season with averages of 27.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.8 steals per contest while shooting 47.0% from the field and 37.3% from the three-point range in 48 games. 

The Cavs are the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 42-24 record in 66 games. 

They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently beat the New Orleans Pelicans by a score of 116-95.

Following the Rockets, the Cavs will play their next game on Monday evening when they visit the Indiana Pacers. 

As for the Rockets, they are the 12th seed in the Western Conference with a 31-35 record in 66 games.  

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a four-game winning streak.
