BREAKING: Giannis Antetokounmpo's Final Injury Status For Bucks-Heat Game 3

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out for Game 3.

On Saturday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks will be in Florida to face off with the Miami Heat for Game 3 of their first-round playoff series.

For the game, they will remain without their best player, as Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out due to a back injury.

The two-time MVP got injured in Game 1 and has only played 11 minutes in the series.

Via Underdog NBA: "Giannis Antetokounmpo (back) ruled out Saturday."

The Bucks and Heat split the first two games of the series in Milwaukee.

Therefore, the Heat have an excellent chance to take a commanding lead if they can defend their home floor in Games 3 and 4.

Antetokounmpo was arguably the best player in the NBA this season, with averages of 31.1 points, 11.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists per contest while shooting 55.3% from the field.

In addition, the Bucks were the best team in the league during the regular season, with a 58-24 record.

The status of Antetokounmpo will have significant implications on the series (and the entire NBA Playoffs).

That said, the Bucks have a deep roster and were able to win 138-122 in Game 2.

On the road, they have gone 26-15 in the 41 games they have played away from Milwaukee.

As for the Heat, they are the eighth seed but have also been to the Conference Finals in two of the previous three seasons.

At home, they are an outstanding 27-14 in the 41 games they have hosted in Miami.
