BREAKING: Jayson Tatum's Injury Status For Celtics-Kings Game

Jayson Tatum is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Boston Celtics will be in Sacramento to face off against the Kings. 

For the game, the Celtics will be without their best player, as All-Star forward Jayson Tatum has been ruled out.

Jayson Tatum (left ankle sprain) - OUT"

Tatum has played in 26 games so far this season and is averaging 26.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 47.6% from the field and 34.5% from the three-point range.  

The Celtics are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 20-6 record in their first 26 games.

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors by a score of 132-126 at the Chase Center on Tuesday evening (in overtime). 

In 41 minutes of playing time, Tatum had 15 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and two steals while shooting 5/17 from the field and 2/9 from the three-point range.

Following the Kings, the Celtics will play their next game on Saturday evening when they visit James Harden and the Los Angeles Clippers. 

As for the Kings, they are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 16-9 record in their first 25 games. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game winning streak. 

Following the Celtics, the Kings will play their next game on Friday when they host the Phoenix Suns.
