BREAKING: Jayson Tatum's Final Injury Status For Pistons-Celtics Game

Jayson Tatum has been upgraded to available for Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Boston Celtics will host the Detroit Pistons in Massachusetts.    

For the game, the Celtics will have their best player in the starting lineup, as Jayson Tatum has been upgraded to available. 

Via Underdog NBA: "Jayson Tatum (injury management) available to play Thursday."

Tatum has played in 28 games so far this season and has averages of 26.9 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest while shooting 47.7% from the field and 34.7% from the three-point range. 

The Celtics are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 23-6 record in their first 29 games.  

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game winning streak. 

Most recently, the Celtics defeated LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 126-115. 

In 41 minutes of playing time, Tatum had 25 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and one block while shooting 6/15 from the field and 1/6 from the three-point range. 

Following the Pistons, the Celtics will host Pascal Siakam and the Toronto Raptors on Friday evening in Boston.

They are a perfect 14-0 on their home floor.

As for the Pistons, they are 2-28 in their first 30 games, which has them as the 15th seed (last place) in the Eastern Conference. 

They are in the middle of a 27-game losing streak and most recently lost to the Brooklyn Nets by a score of 118-112. 

Following the Celtics, the Pistons will host the Raptors on Saturday in Michigan.
