BREAKING: Jimmy Butler's Injury Status In Heat-Jazz Game

Jimmy Butler went to the locker room during Saturday's game.

UPDATE: Jimmy Butler has been ruled out for the rest of the game.   

On Saturday, the Miami Heat are in Salt Lake City facing off against the Utah Jazz.

During the second half, Jimmy Butler went to the locker room with an injury. 

Butler had missed each of the previous four games before returning to the lineup against the Jazz.   

He has eight points, two rebounds, one assist and one block while shooting 2/3 from the field in 23 minutes of playing time.

Butler came into the day with averages of 21.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 46.2% from the field and 37.7% from the three-point range in 23 games.  

The Heat are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 19-12 record in their first 31 games. 

They are in the middle of a four-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Following the Jazz, the Heat will travel to California to face off against Russell Westbrook and the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday. 

Butler is in his 13th season in the NBA and his fifth playing for Miami. 

He has led the franchise to the playoffs in each of the previous four seasons, and they are coming off a year where they made the NBA Finals for the second time in that span. 

In addition to the Heat, Butler has also spent time with the Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves and Philadelphia 76ers.
