On Tuesday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers are playing the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

During the first half, Joel Embiid went to the locker room with an injury.

The 2023 MVP had missed the previous two games but returned to the starting lineup against the Warriors.

So far, he has four points, two rebounds, one assist and two steals while shooting 1/7 from the field and 1/2 from the three-point range in ten minutes of playing time.

There has been no word from the team on Embiid's status for the rest of the game.

Via Anthony Slater of The Athletic: "Joel Embiid walking gingerly to the locker room during the timeout with a wrap on his knee. He played 10 minutes and went 1-of-7 shooting in the first quarter."

Embiid entered the matchup with sensational averages of 36.0 points, 11.4 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.8 blocks per contest while shooting 53.9% from the field and 36.8% from the three-point range in 33 games.

In addition, the 76ers are among the best teams in the league, with a 29-16 record in their first 45 games, which has them as the third seed in the Eastern Conference.

Following the Warriors, they will travel to Salt Lake City for a game against Jordan Clarkson and the Utah Jazz on Thursday evening.
