BREAKING: Key Phoenix Suns Player Ruled Out Against Celtics

Eric Gordon has been ruled out for Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Phoenix Suns will play the Boston Celtics in Massachusetts. 

For the game, the Suns will be without one of their best player role players, as Eric Gordon has been ruled out.  

Gordon also missed the team's last game, so this will be his second straight out of action.

Gordon is averaging 12.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per contest while shooting 44.6% from the field and 38.0% from the three-point range in 53 games. 

The Suns are the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 38-27 record in 65 games.  

They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and are coming off a 117-111 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers (in Ohio). 

Kevin Durant led the way with 37 points, eight rebounds, six assists and one steal. 

Following their matchup with the Celtics, the Suns will play their next game on Friday evening when they visit Brandon Miller and the Charlotte Hornets in North Carolina. 

On the road, they are 17-13 in 30 games. 

As for the Celtics, they are the best team in the NBA with a 51-14 record in 65 games. 

They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game winning streak. 

At home, the Celtics are 29-3 in 32 games. 

Following the Suns, they will play their next game on Sunday evening when they visit Jordan Poole and the Washington Wizards in Washington, D.C.
