BREAKING: Klay Thompson's Updated Status For Warriors-Pacers Game

Klay Thompson has been added to the injury report for Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Golden State Warriors will be in Indianapolis to face off against the Indiana Pacers.    

For the game, they will be without one of their best players, as less than two hours before tip-off, Klay Thomson was ruled out due to an illness.

Via FantasyLabs NBA: "Klay Thompson (illness) out Thursday."

Thompson has played in 46 games and is averaging 17.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest while shooting 41.7% from the field and 37.7% from the three-point range.

The Warriors are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 23-25 record in 48 games.   

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and most recently defeated the Philadelphia 76ers by a score of 127-104.     

In 28 minutes of playing time, Thompson had 18 points, three rebounds, one assist and one block while shooting 6/12 from the field and 4/5 from the three-point range. 

Following Thursday's showdown with Indiana, the Warriors will return home to host Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns on Saturday evening at the Chase Center in San Francisco. 

As for the Pacers, they are the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference and have a 29-23 record in 52 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and most recently beat the Houston Rockets by a score of 132-129. 

Pascal Siakam led the team with 29 points. 

Following their matchup with Golden State, the Pacers will begin on a road trip when they visit New York Knicks on Saturday.
