BREAKING: LeBron James Made NBA History In Warriors-Lakers Game

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James made NBA history in Game 4.

UPDATE: LeBron James finished with 27 points, nine rebounds, six assists and one block, and the Lakers won 104-101.  

On Monday evening, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Golden State Warriors at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles for Game 4 of their second-round playoff series.      

James came into the game with 2,356 career Playoff two-point field goals, which was tied with Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most all-time.   

With his first two-pointer of the night, the 19-time All-Star has passed Abdul-Jabbar for sole possession of first.

James has passed Abdul-Jabbar on several all-time lists this season.

In Game 3, the four-time Champion passed him on the all-time Playoff rebounding list, and during the regular season, he moved ahead of the Lakers legend for first on the all-time scoring list

James is in his 20th season in the league but is still among the ten best players.  

He finished the regular season with sensational averages of 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field.  

The Lakers are the seventh seed in the Western Conference, but they defeated the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round in six games and are up 2-1 on the defending NBA Champion Warriors. 

Game 5 of the series will be back at the Chase Center in San Francisco on Wednesday evening.  

Whoever wins the series will advance to the Western Conference Finals and face off against the Denver Nuggets or the Phoenix Suns.
