BREAKING: Luka Doncic's Final Injury Status For Pistons-Mavs Game

Luka Doncic will be available for Monday's game.

On Monday night, the Dallas Mavericks are hosting the Detroit Pistons in Texas.

For the game, they will have their best player in the starting lineup, as Luka Doncic has been upgraded to available.

The four-time NBA All-Star missed Saturday's 108-100 loss to the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City, but the good news is he was only out for one full game (he played three minutes before exiting Thursday's 99-95 win over the Phoenix Suns).

Underdog NBA: "Luka Doncic (ankle) available to play Monday."

Doncic has been playing at an MVP level so far this season.

He comes into the night with unbelievable averages of 33.0 points, 8.9 rebounds, 8.4 assists and 1.5 steals per contest in 45 games.

The Mavs are currently in a four-way tie for the sixth seed in the Western Conference and have a 26-25 record in 51 games.

They have been excellent at home (17-9 in 26 games) but are just 3-7 in their last ten games overall.

Last season, Doncic led the Mavs to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2011.

Doncic had been to the playoffs twice before, but this was his first time winning a playoff series.

At just 23 years old, he has established himself as one of the top-ten players in the NBA and a true superstar.

As for the Pistons, they are the 15th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 13-38 record in 51 games.

They are 2-8 in their last ten games and 7-19 in 26 on the road.
