UPDATE: Luka Doncic's Injury Status In Mavs-Clippers Game

UPDATE: Luka Doncic has returned to Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Dallas Mavericks are in California facing off against James Harden and the Los Angeles Clippers.  

During the game, All-Star Luka Doncic went to the locker room.

Doncic came into the evening with averages of 30.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, 8.1 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 49.1% from the field and 40.8% from the three-point range in 15 games. 

The Mavs are 10-5 in their first 15 games, which has them as the third seed in the Western Conference.  

They are 6-4 over their previous ten games and most recently defeated LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 104-101 (in California on Wednesday).  

In 39 minutes of playing time, Doncic had 30 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists and two steals while shooting 10/26 from the field and 3/12 from the three-point range. 

Doncic was the third pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and has spent his entire career with Dallas (he is in his sixth season).  

The 24-year-old has already made the NBA All-Star Game four times and is coming off a year where he averaged 32.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.4 steals per contest. 

Following the Clippers, the Mavs will play their next game (at home) against Jalen Green and the Houston Rockets on Tuesday evening.
