BREAKING: Zach LaVine's Updated Injury Status For Bulls-Thunder Game

Zach LaVine has been ruled out for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Chicago Bulls will face off against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Oklahoma.

For the game, they will be without one of their best players, as Zach LaVine has now been ruled out.

Via Julia Poe of The Chicago Tribune: "Zach LaVine will not play tonight, per Bulls PR. 

He’s been dealing with foot soreness for a few days. Billy Donovan said his availability will be handled on a night by night basis."

LaVine has played in all 15 games this season and is averaging 21.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists per contest while shooting 43.1% from the field and 33.9% from the three-point range. 

The Bulls are 5-10 in their first 15 games and most recently lost (at home) by a score of 118-100 to Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat. 

In 35 minutes of playing time, LaVine had 13 points, three rebounds and five assists while shooting 5/9 from the field and 2/6 from the three-point range. 

Over the previous ten games, the Bulls are 3-7, and they are 1-4 in the five games they have played on the road away from the United Center. 

LaVine is in his tenth season in the NBA and his seventh playing with the Bulls.  

He is a two-time All-Star and has career averages of 20.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.9 assists per contest while shooting 46.4% from the field and 38.2% from the three-point range.

Following the Thunder, the Bulls will visit the Toronto Raptors in Canada on Saturday.
