The Bulls come into the night with a 38-42 record in 80 games, which has them as the tenth seed (the final play-in tournament spot) in the Eastern Conference.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game losing streak.

On the road, the Bulls have struggled, going just 17-23 in the 40 games they have played away from the United Center in Chicago.

Last year, they made the NBA Playoffs for the first time since the 2017 season, so this season has been a disappointment.

That said, the Bulls will have a chance to make the playoffs if they can win their way through the play-in tournament.

As for the Mavs, they have also had a tough season.

The franchise is coming off making the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2011, but they are currently the 11th seed.

The Mavs have a 38-42 record in 80 games and are just 3-7 in their last ten games.

At home, they have been good, going 23-16 in the 39 games they have hosted in Dallas.

Both teams have the talent to make a deep run in the playoffs.
