The two teams faced off in Brooklyn on Tuesday, and the Cavs won 115-109.

All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell led the way with 31 points in 37 minutes of playing time.

Right now, the Cavs are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 46-28 record in 74 games.

They are on a two-game winning streak and 6-4 in their last ten games.

However, the Cavs have struggled on the road, going just 17-20 in the 37 games they have played outside of Ohio.

The franchise hasn't been to the NBA Playoffs since 2018, when they still had LeBron James, so this has been their best season in years.

As for the Nets, they are the sixth seed in the east with a 39-33 record in 72 games.

They are on a four-game losing streak and 5-5 in their last ten games.

At home, the Nets have been good, going 19-15 in the 34 games they have hosted at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Last season, they got swept in the first round of the NBA Playoffs by the Boston Celtics, but they have a very different roster after making several trades last month.
