The Celtics come into the night as the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 48-22 record in 70 games.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and a very impressive 22-13 in the 35 games they have played on the road away from Boston.

Last season, the Celtics made the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010.

With the way they have played this season, they are one of the contenders to win the 2023 NBA Championship.

As for the Trail Blazers, they are 31-38 in 69 games, which has them as the 13th seed in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a four-game losing streak and are 3-7 in their last ten games.

At home, the Trail Blazers have a 17-16 record in 33 games hosted in Oregon.

They missed the NBA Playoffs last season and are currently 2.5 games behind the Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers (who are tied for the ninth seed).

Therefore, the Trail Blazers still have a chance to make the play-in tournament.
