In the first game, Kawhi Leonard had 38 points in 42 minutes, while four players on the Suns scored 18+ points.
However, their bench only contributed ten points.
The Clippers are the fifth seed in the Western Conference and finished the year with a 44-38 record.
Meanwhile, the Suns are the fourth seed and went 45-37.
The winner of the series will face off against either the Denver Nuggets or Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round.
