Coby White's Injury Status For Clippers-Bulls Game

Coby White is on the injury report for Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Chicago Bulls will host the Los Angeles Clippers at the Untied Center in Illinois.  

For the game, they will be without one of their best players, as starting guard Coby White has been ruled out.

Via ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski: "Chicago Bulls G Coby White’s MRI revealed a mild hip strain, sources tell ESPN. White - a Most Improved Player candidate — has averaged 19.7 points and 5.2 assists and could return to lineup as soon as Saturday vs. Wizards."

White is having a productive season with averages of 19.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists per contest while shooting 45.2% from the field and 38.8% from the three-point range in 66 games.   

The Bulls are the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 32-34 record in 66 games. 

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Indiana Pacers (in overtime) by a score of 132-129. 

White got injured during the game (and did not return). 

He finished with 15 points, four rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block while shooting 6/17 from the field in 36 minutes of playing time. 

Following the Clippers, the Bulls will play their next game Saturday evening when they host Kyle Kuzma and the Washington Wizards. 

As for the Clippers, they are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 41-23 record in 64 games. 

They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak.
