D'Angelo Russell's Final Injury Status For Jazz-Lakers Game

D'Angelo Russell has been upgraded to available for Sunday's game.

On Sunday afternoon, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Utah Jazz for their final regular season game.

For the game, they will have their star point guard in the starting lineup, as D'Angelo Russell has been upgraded to available.

Underdog NBA: "D'Angelo Russell (foot) will play Sunday."

Russell has very good averages of 17.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.0 steals per contest in 70 games.

The former Ohio State star is also shooting 47.0% from the field and 39.6% from the three-point range.

He was traded (via the Minnesota Timberwolves) in February and has been a huge reason for the Lakers turning around their season.

They come into the day as the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 42-39 record in 81 games.

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and 22-18 in the 40 games they have hosted on their home floor in Los Angeles, California.

Russell began his career with the Lakers as the second pick in the 2015 NBA Draft and spent his first two seasons with the organization.

As for the Jazz, they had made the NBA Playoffs in each of the last five seasons, but the streak will come to an end this year.

They are 37-44 in 81 games, which has them as the 12th seed in the Western Conference.

Over the last ten games, the Jazz are 2-8, and they are 14-26 in the 40 games they have played on the road away from Salt Lake City, Utah.
