Darius Garland's Injury Status For Cavs-Magic Game

Darius Garland has been ruled out for Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers will be in Florida to face off with the Orlando Magic.

For the game, they will be without their star point guard, as Darius Garland has been ruled out due to a leg injury.

Underdog NBA: "Darius Garland (leg) listed out for Thursday."

The former Vanderbilt star is having another excellent season with averages of 21.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 1.2 steals per contest in 69 games.

He is also shooting 46.2% from the field and 41.0% from the three-point range.

In addition to Garland's outstanding play, the Cavs are having their best season in years and come into the night as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are 50-30 in 80 games and 7-3 over the last ten.

The Cavs are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak.

That said, they are only 19-21 in the 40 games they have played on the road away from Cleveland, Ohio (this is their final road game of the 2022-23 regular season).

As for the Magic, they are in rebuilding mode but have remained competitive this season with a 34-35 record in 79 games.

They are 6-4 in their last ten games and 20-20 in the 40 games they have hosted on their home floor in Orlando, Florida.

The Cavs are on their way to the NBA Playoffs for the first time since the 2018 season, while the Magic will miss the playoffs for the third straight year.
