On Tuesday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers will host the New York Knicks in Ohio.

The Cavs are coming off a 125-113 loss to the Indiana Pacers (at home) on Saturday.

For Tuesday's game, the Cavs will remain without one of their best players, as Darius Garland has been ruled out.

Via Underdog NBA: "Darius Garland (hamstring) listed out for Tuesday."

Garland played in the team's first game and had 15 points, two rebounds, five assists and two steals in 32 minutes of playing time.

However, the former Vanderbilt star has missed each of the previous two games, so this will be his third straight game out of the lineup.

This is Garland's fifth season in the league (all with the Cavs), and he made the All-Star Game in 2022.

His career averages are 18.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 44.9% from the field and 38.7% from the three-point range in 251 regular season games (he has also appeared in five NBA playoff games).

Through the first three games of the year, the Cavs were 1-2, and their only victory was against the Brooklyn Nets (114-113).

Last season, the Cavs were the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 51-31 record and made the NBA playoffs for the first time since 2018.

However, they lost in the first round to the Knicks (in five games).

Following Tuesday's game, the Cavs and Knicks will face off again on Wednesday night (in New York City).
