Darius Garland's Injury Status For Pacers-Cavs Game

Darius Garland has been ruled out for Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers will host the Indiana Pacers in Ohio.

They are 1-1 in their first two games and are coming off a 108-105 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday at home.

For Saturday's game, the Cavs will remain without their starting point guard, as Darius Garland has been ruled out for the second straight game.

Via Underdog NBA: "Darius Garland (hamstring) listed out Saturday."

Garland is coming off a fantastic season where he averaged 21.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 46.2% from the field and 41.0% from the three-point range.

The former Vanderbilt star has become one of the best point guards in the league and in 2022 he was an All-Star.

The Cavs are coming off a season where they were the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.

They made the NBA playoffs for the first time since the 2018 season but lost to the New York Knicks in the first round.

Despite the disappointing finish, the year was still a success, and they should be seen as one of the best teams in the east.

Meanwhile, the Pacers are 1-0, as they defeated the Washington Wizards by a score of 143-120 on Wednesday.

NBA Champion Bruce Brown Jr. led the way with 24 points, and the entire team shot 52.3% from the field.

Last season, the Pacers were the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference, so they missed the NBA playoffs for the third straight season.
