FINAL UPDATE: Darius Garland's Injury Status For Pistons-Cavs Game

Darius Garland is on the injury report for Friday's game.

FINAL UPDATE: Darius Garland is available, according to Chris Fedor of cleveland.com.

On Friday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers will host the Detroit Pistons in Ohio.

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as starting point guard Darius Garland is questionable.

The 2022 All-Star also missed the team's last game, so this would be his second straight out of the lineup (if he doesn't play).

Via Underdog NBA: "Darius Garland (neck) listed questionable for Friday."

Garland has played in six games so far this season and is averaging 17.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.8 steals per contest while shooting 44.9% from the field and 28.6% from the three-point range.

The Cavs are 5-6 in their first 11 games and most recently defeated the Portland Trail Blazers (in Oregon) by a score of 109-95 on Wednesday.

Donovan Mitchell led the team with 34 points, six rebounds and four assists in 36 minutes of playing time.

Garland is in his fifth season in the NBA (all with the Cavs) and is coming off a year where he averaged 21.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 46.2% from the field and 41.0% from the three-point range in 69 games.

Following the Pistons, the Cavs will host Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets on Sunday evening.

As for the Pistons, they are 2-10 in their first 12 games and in the middle of a nine-game losing streak.

Following the Cavs, they will visit Pascal Siakam and the Toronto Raptors (in Canada) on Sunday afternoon.
