UPDATE: Darius Garland's Injury Status For Raptors-Cavs Game

Darius Garland is on the injury report for Sunday's game.

UPDATE: Darius Garland is in the starting lineup. 

On Sunday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers will host the Toronto Raptors in Ohio.

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as starting point guard Darius Garland is on the injury report.

Garland has played in 11 games so far this season and is averaging 19.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 47.1% from the field and 32.6% from the three-point range. 

The Cavs are 8-8 in their first 16 games, which has them as the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference.  

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and are 6-4 over their previous ten games. 

Most recently, the Cavs lost to the Los Angeles Lakers (at home) by a score of 121-115.

Garland is in his fifth season in the NBA (all with the Cavs) and made the All-Star Game in 2022. 

Last season, he helped lead the franchise to the playoffs for the first time since 2018.

Following the Raptors, the Cavs will play their next game against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday evening in Ohio. 

As for the Raptors, they are 8-8 in their first 16 games, which has them as the tenth seed in the east. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and 6-4 over their previous ten games. 

Following the Cavs, the Raptors will play their next game against the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center on Tuesday in New York.
