De'Aaron Fox is on the injury report for Saturday's game.

UPDATE: De'Aaron Fox has been ruled out (h/t James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento).

On Saturday evening, the Sacramento Kings will host the Utah Jazz in California.

For the game, the Kings could be without their best player, as All-Star point guard De'Aaron Fox is on the injury report.

Via James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento: "De'Aaron Fox is questionable for Saturday's matchup against the Jazz due to right shoulder irritation."

Fox has played in 18 games so far this season and is averaging 30.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 47.5% from the field and 38.7% from the three-point range.

The Kings are 14-9 in their first 23 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Western Conference.

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 128-123.

In 34 minutes of playing time, Fox had 41 points, three rebounds, seven assists and two steals while shooting 14/25 from the field and 5/11 from the three-point range.

Following the Jazz, the Kings will play their next game on Monday evening when they host Jordan Poole and the Washington Wizards.

Fox was the fifth pick in the 2017 NBA Draft out of Kentucky and is in his seventh season in the league.

He has played in 413 regular season games and has averages of 20.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 47.3% from the field and 32.7% from the three-point range.

Last season, Fox helped lead the Kings to the NBA playoffs for the first time since the 2006 season.
