UPDATE: De'Aaron Fox's Current Injury Status For Kings-Nuggets Game

De'Aaron Fox is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

UPDATE: De'Aaron Fox has been ruled out, according to Chris Biderman of The Sacramento Bee.

On Wednesday evening, the Sacramento Kings will be in Colorado to face off against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets. 

For the game, the Kings could be without their best player, as star point guard De'Aaron Fox is on the injury report. 

Via Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee: "The Sacramento Kings are listing De’Aaron Fox as questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Denver Nuggets due to a left knee contusion."

Fox is having another fantastic season with averages of 26.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.9 steals per contest while shooting 47.1% from the field and 36.9% from the three-point range in 51 games. 

The Kings are currently the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 33-24 record in 57 games. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Miami Heat by a score of 121-110. 

In 39 minutes of playing time, Fox had 27 points, eight rebounds, six assists, three steals and one block while shooting 13/24 from the field and 1/5 from the three-point range. 

Following the Nuggets, the Kings will travel to Minnesota for a showdown with the Timberwolves on Friday evening at the Target Center. 

As for the Nuggets, they are the third seed in the Western Conference with a 39-19 record in 58 games. 

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and have gone 6-4 over their last ten games.
