UPDATE: De'Aaron Fox's Current Injury Status For Kings-Timberwolves Game

De'Aaron Fox is on the injury report for Friday's game.

UPDATE: De'Aaron Fox has been ruled out (h/t Alan Horton).

On Friday evening, the Sacramento Kings will be in Minnesota to face off against the Timberwolves at the Target Center.

For the game, the Kings could be without their best player, as starting point guard De'Aaron Fox is on the injury report.

The former Kentucky star also missed the team's last game, so this would be his second straight out of the lineup (if he doesn't play).

Via Chris Biderman of The Sacramento Bee: "De’Aaron Fox, listed as questionable with his left knee contusion suffered Monday, is participating in this morning’s shootaround in Minnesota before tonight’s game. He did the same in Denver before sitting out after going through his pre-game warmup."

Fox is in the middle of another extremely productive season with averages of 26.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.9 steals per contest while shooting 47.1% from the field and 36.9% from the three-point range in 51 games.

The Kings are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 33-25 record in 58 games.

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and are 4-6 over their last ten games.

Following the Timberwolves, the Kings will return home to host the Chicago Bulls on Monday evening in Sacramento.

As for the Timberwolves, they are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 42-17 record in 59 games.

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and are 8-2 over their last ten games.

Following the Kings, the Timberwolves will host the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday afternoon.
