UPDATE: Deandre Ayton's Injury Status For Trail Blazers-Jazz Game

Deandre Ayton is on the injury report for Thursday's game.

UPDATE: Deandre Ayton is available.

On Thursday evening, the Portland Trail Blazers will host the Utah Jazz in Oregon.

For the game, the Trail Blazers could be without one of their best players, as starting center Deandre Ayton is on the injury report.

Ayton has missed each of the previous three games, so this would be his fourth straight out of the lineup (if he doesn't play).

Via Underdog NBA: "Deandre Ayton (knee) questionable for Thursday."

Ayton has played in 18 games so far this season and is averaging 12.9 points, 10.8 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.2 blocks per contest while shooting 58.7% from the field.

The Trail Blazers are 6-16 in their first 22 games, which has them as the 13th seed in the Western Conference.

They have lost each of their previous three games without Ayton and are in the middle of a four-game losing streak.

Over the last ten games, the Trail Blazers are 3-7, and they are 2-6 in the eight games they have hosted on their home floor in Oregon.

Following the Jazz, they will play their next game on Saturday when they host Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks.

Ayton was the first pick in the 2018 NBA Draft out of Arizona and spent the first five seasons of his career with the Phoenix Suns.

He is in his first season with Portland and has career averages of 16.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 blocks per contest while shooting 59.6% from the field in 321 regular season games.
