UPDATE: Dejounte Murray's Injury Status For Pistons-Hawks Game

Dejounte Murray is on the injury report for Tuesday’s game.

UPDATE: Dejounte Murray has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game.

On Tuesday evening, the Atlanta Hawks are hosting the Detroit Pistons at State Farm Arena in Georgia.

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as 2022 NBA All-Star Dejounte Murray is on the injury report listed as questionable.

Underdog NBA: "Dejounte Murray (illness) questionable for Tuesday."

The former Washington star is in his first season with the Hawks after spending six seasons with the San Antonio Spurs.

He is currently averaging a very solid 20.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.5 steals per contest in 66 games.

The 26-year-old is also shooting 46.0% from the field and 35.2% from the three-point range.

Right now, the Hawks are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 35-36 record in 71 games.

They are 4-6 in their last ten games and 19-15 in the 34 games they have hosted at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

In each of the last two seasons, the Hawks have made the NBA Playoffs (and they made the Eastern Conference Finals in 2021).

As for the Pistons, the franchise is in rebuilding mode and won't be competing for the 2023 playoffs.

They are the 15th seed in the east (last place) with a 16-56 record in 72 games.

Over the last ten games, the Pistons have gone 1-9, and they are on a three-game losing streak.

On the road, they have struggled in a big way, going just 7-27 in the 34 games they have played away from Michigan.
