DeMar DeRozan's Injury Status For Bucks-Bulls Game

DeMar DeRozan has been ruled out for Thursday’s game.

On Thursday evening, the Chicago Bulls are hosting the Milwaukee Bucks at the United Center in Illinois.

However, they will be without one of their best players for the contest, as DeMar DeRozan has been ruled out due to a quad injury.

This will be his second straight game out of the lineup.

Underdog NBA: "DeMar DeRozan (quad) listed out Thursday."

The former USC star is having a sensational year with averages of 25.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 5.1 assists per contest in 53 games (while shooting 50.7% from the field).

DeRozan is in his second season with the franchise and is coming off averaging a career-high 27.9 points per contest in 2022.

The Bulls also made the NBA Playoffs for the first time since 2017, which is why this year has been so disappointing.

They come into Thursday night as the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 26-32 record in 58 games.

Over the last ten games, the Bulls are 4-6, and they are also in the middle of a five-game losing streak.

That said, they have been good at the United Center, with a 16-12 record in 28 games at home.

Meanwhile, the Bucks are the hottest team in the NBA (on an 11-game winning streak).

They are the second seed in the east with a 40-17 record in 57 games and are 16-12 in 28 games on the road away from Wisconsin.

Last season, they beat the Bulls in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
