UPDATE: DeMar DeRozan's Status For Bulls-Mavs Game

DeMar DeRozan is on the injury report for Friday's game.

UPDATE: DeMar DeRozan has been ruled out.

On Friday night, the Chicago Bulls will be in Texas to face off with the Dallas Mavericks.

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as DeMar DeRozan is on the injury report listed as questionable due to rest.

Underdog NBA: "DeMar DeRozan (rest) listed questionable for Friday."

The former USC star is in the middle of a sensational season with averages of 24.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.1 steals per contest in 73 games while shooting 50.5% from the field.

He joined the Bulls last year and helped lead them to the NBA Playoffs for the first time since the 2017 season.

Right now, they are the tenth seed (the final play-in tournament spot) in the Eastern Conference and have a 38-42 record in 80 games.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game losing streak.

On the road, the Bulls have struggled, going just 17-23 in 40 games played away from the United Center in Chicago.

While it's been a disappointing year for the Bulls, they will still have a chance to make the playoffs (via the play-in tournament).

As for the Mavs, they are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 38-42 record in 80 games.

Over the last ten games, they have gone 3-7, but the Mavs have been very good at home, going 23-16 in 39 games.

Last season, they made the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2011.
