UPDATE: Dennis Schroder's Injury Status For Grizzlies-Lakers Game 3

Dennis Schroder is on the injury report for Game 3.

UPDATE: Dennis Schroder is available.

On Saturday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will host the Memphis Grizzlies for Game 3 of their first-round playoff series.

For the game, Dennis Schroder is on the injury report.

However, the veteran point guard is listed as probable, so he will more than likely be available.

Via NBC Sports EDGE Basketball: "Dennis Schroder (Achilles) probable for Gm 3 Sat."

Schroder has been one of the most important players for the Lakers off the bench this season.

He averaged 12.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per contest and scored 21 points in the play-in tournament win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Right now, the series is tied up at 1-1 after Games 1 and 2 were split in Memphis.

The Lakers will have an excellent chance to take momentum off the series because they are 23-18 in the 41 games they have hosted on their home floor in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies went just 16-25 in the 41 games they have played on the road away from Memphis.

After missing the NBA Playoffs in 2022, the Lakers rebounded and were able to finish as the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 43-39.

As for the Grizzlies, they had an impressive 51-31 record and are the second seed for the second consecutive season.

Both teams have talented rosters that have the potential to make a deep run.

Whoever wins the series will advance to the second round and face off against either the Sacramento Kings or Golden State Warriors.
