UPDATE: Dennis Schroder's Injury Status For Grizzlies-Lakers Game

Dennis Schroder is on the injury report for Game 4.

UPDATE: Dennis Schroder is available.

On Monday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Memphis Grizzlies for Game 4 of their first-round playoff series.

For the game, Dennis Schroder is on the injury report.

However, the veteran point guard is listed as probable, so he should end up being available.

The 29-year-old has been an essential part of the Lakers team all season long.

In their play-in tournament victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Schroder had 21 points and he averaged 12.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per contest during the regular season.

Schroder is in his second tenure with the organization (he was the team's starting point guard in 2021).

The Lakers currently have a 2-1 lead in the series, so a victory in Game 4 would give them a commanding 3-1 lead.

At home, they have been good, going 24-18 in the 42 games they have hosted in Los Angeles, California.

Despite finishing the season as the seventh seed, the Lakers have one of the most talented rosters in the league.

They will have an excellent chance to compete for their second title in four seasons (they won the 2020 NBA Championship over the Miami Heat).

As for the Grizzlies, they have struggled in a big way on the road, going just 16-26 in the 42 games they have played away from Memphis.

Game 5 will be in Memphis on Wednesday night.

The winner of the series will advance to the second round and face off with either the Sacramento Kings or the Golden State Warriors.
