FINAL UPDATE: Dennis Schroder is available.

On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will be in Tennessee for Game 2 of their first-round playoff series against the Memphis Grizzlies.

For the game, Dennis Schroder is on the injury report.

However, the veteran point guard is listed as probable, so he should end up being available.

Schroder is in his second stint with the Lakers and has been one of their most important players off the bench this season.

He played in 66 regular season games and averaged 12.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per contest (he also had 21 points in the play-in tournament win over the Minnesota Timberwolves).

In Game 1, Schroder had seven points, one rebound and four assists in 20 minutes of playing time.

The Lakers were able to win the game 128-112, so they can take a 2-0 lead in the series with a victory on Wednesday night.

Games 3 and 4 will be played in Los Angeles, so the Grizzlies will be desperate for a victory.

After missing the playoffs in 2022, the Lakers went 43-39 during the regular season and are the seventh seed in the Western Conference.

They have one most talented rosters in the league and will have a chance to compete for the 2023 title.

As for the Grizzlies, they are the second seed (for the second straight season) and finished the year with an impressive 51-31 record.

Whoever wins the series will face off with either the Sacramento Kings or Golden State Warriors in the second round.
