Devin Booker's Final Injury Status For Jazz-Suns Game

Devin Booker has been ruled out for Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Phoenix Suns will host the Utah Jazz in Arizona.  

They are 1-1 in their first two games and coming off a 100-95 loss to LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers (on Thursday).  

Devin Booker, who missed Thursday's loss, has also been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Jazz.

Booker played in the team's first game against the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco on Tuesday.      

The former Kentucky star had a fantastic night, putting up 32 points, six rebounds, eight assists and one steal in 37 minutes of playing time.       

Last season, Booker averaged an incredible 27.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per contest while shooting 49.4% from the field.   

The Suns are coming off a season where they were the fourth seed in the Western Conference and defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the NBA playoffs. 

However, they lost to the Denver Nuggets in the second round (in six games). 

The franchise has made the NBA playoffs for three straight seasons and reached the NBA Finals in 2021.  

As for the Jazz, they are 1-1 in their first two games and coming off a 120-118 victory over Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night.  

Lauri Markkanen led the way with an impressive 35 points, 12 rebounds and three assists in 35 minutes of playing time. 

Last season, the Jazz were the 12th seed in the Western Conference and missed the NBA playoffs.
