Devin Booker's Injury Status For Lakers-Suns Game

Devin Booker has been ruled out for Friday's game.

On Friday evening, the Phoenix Suns will host the Los Angeles Lakers in Arizona.

For the game, they will be without one of their best players, as Devin Booker has been ruled out. 

Booker has missed the previous three games, so this will be his fourth straight out of the lineup.

Booker has played in two games this season and is averaging 31.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 10.5 assists per contest while shooting 57.5% from the field and 53.3% from the three-point range.     

The Suns are 4-4 in their first eight games, which has them tied for the seventh seed in the Western Conference. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and most recently defeated the Chicago Bulls by a score of 116-115 (in overtime). 

Booker is in his ninth season in the NBA and is coming off a year where he averaged 27.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 49.4% from the field.  

Following the Lakers, the Suns will play their next game against the Oklahoma City Thunder (at home) in Arizona on Sunday evening. 

As for the Lakers, they are 3-5 in their first eight games and in the middle of a three-game losing streak.  

Most recently, they lost to the Houston Rockets by a score of 128-94, and they are 0-5 in the five games they have played on the road. 

Following the Suns, the Lakers will host the Portland Trail Blazers in California on Sunday.
