UPDATE: Devin Booker's Official Injury Status For Jazz-Suns Game

Devin Booker is officially listed as doubtful for Saturday's game.

UPDATE: Devin Booker has been ruled out.

On Saturday evening, the Phoenix Suns will play their third game of the regular season when they host the Utah Jazz in Arizona.

Devin Booker had 32 points and led the Suns to a 108-104 victory (on Tuesday evening) against the Golden State Warriors, but he missed Thursday's 100-95 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

For Saturday's showdown with the Jazz, Booker has been officially listed as doubtful.

Booker is coming off another stellar year where he averaged 27.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per contest.

Before Friday's game with the Lakers, Jared Greenberg of the NBA on TNT reported an update on Booker's status.

Via Greenberg on Friday: "NEW: Devin Booker is out tonight due to a left mid-foot sprain which he suffered during Tiesday’s win at Golden State. A team source tells me Booker is aiming to return to action Tuesday pending the results of an MRI which he will receive when the team returns home. @NBAonTNT"

It seems more than likely that the Suns will be without Booker for the second straight game.

The Suns are coming off a season where they were the fourth seed in the Western Conference and defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the NBA playoffs (in five games).

However, they lost to the Denver Nuggets in the second round (in six games).

The franchise has been to the NBA playoffs for three straight seasons and made the NBA Finals in 2021.
